Car tour with archaeologist Ronald Ducks to rustic burial mounds, the baptismal angel of Lütgendorf and the mighty tower mound of Luisenfeld
There is a particularly high density of archaeological monuments in the area of the nature park, which, as silent witnesses, preserve a wealth of interesting information from our ancestors to the present day. Many of these deeply hidden secrets are vividly explained during an archaeological tour by Roland Ducks, a volunteer archaeologist. Roland Ducks has a wealth of experience as he has accompanied and worked on numerous excavations in the region.
The archaeological tour takes participants to prominent burial mounds, the baroque baptismal angel at Lütgendorf and the imposing tower mound at Louisenfeld. This gives those interested a lively insight into the archaeological features and history of the region.
The meeting point for the tour is on Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. in Klocksin at the end of the village in the direction of Groß Rehberg. From there, the tour will continue in your own vehicle to the various archaeological sites. The tour is scheduled to end at around 2 pm.
