Start of the cycling season with Book Bike in Neustrelitz
This bike tour starts on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the town hall on the market in Neustrelitz and also ends there. The route leads:
- to the Hellberge, a nature reserve east of the village of Wendfeld. The area includes the 800-metre-long Hellberge ridge with adjacent wetlands.
- You will learn interesting facts about Walter Gotsmann, a drawing teacher, painter and conservationist in the region.
- A short visit to Hohenzieritz Castle with a view of the park and a coffee stop at the Luisenstübchen or Stauden-Café in Peckatel round off the excursion
Martin Hedtke, a certified nature/landscape guide and owner of Martins Freunde Zweiradservice https://www.martinsfreundezweiradservice.de, will accompany you on a route of around 30 kilometers and a riding time of around 3-4 hours. This tour is suitable for families with children aged 8 and over.
