Last but not least: Women of the "post-reunification generation". The portraits reveal how experiences, memories and family stories continue to have an effect and what self-image emerges from socialization in the GDR.
Annette Schuhmann is a research associate at the Leibniz Center for Contemporary History in Potsdam (ZZF). Her articles on the history of everyday life in the GDR appear in ZEIT.
