Anna Mateur is this magnificent, wondrous phenomenon who, with her legendary vocal range and her hilariously serious sense of humor, outshines everything in this country that tries to establish itself as “high art,” “alternative art,” “minor art,” or “in-between art.” Anna Mateur is: Special Art.
