Deeply relaxed with the animals through nature

An unforgettable experience for guests of all ages and especially for families with children is an alpaca hike through the hilly landscape of Mecklenburg Switzerland near Teterow. The animals are particularly gentle by nature and are also used in animal-assisted therapy due to their calm and peaceful nature. How does an alpaca hike work? The first thing on the program is to get to know the animals. The animals get enough time to sniff the "newcomers" from a distance. There is also plenty of information about the alpacas in general and the animals on site in particular. After that, "relationship work" is the order of the day. Trust and closeness are built up by feeding and stroking - the animals' well-being and needs are always paramount! Safe and careful guiding is the be-all and end-all of the hike. To ensure that everything goes smoothly, we start by practicing. And then it's off into the hilly Hardtland of Mecklenburg Switzerland with great views of the wonderful landscape. Each family/household is assigned at least one animal - so that any pandemic-related hygiene requirements can be met. At the latest when it's time to head back, every participant will feel a pleasantly relaxed sense of happiness. Once back at the starting point, there is enough time for souvenir photos and to say goodbye.
