is one of the most exciting young guitarists on the international scene. As a modern fingerstyle phenomenon, he combines technical brilliance with profound music
Misko began playing classical guitar at the age of 12 and quickly developed his own style by teaching himself modern fingerstyle techniques. His viral hit “Guitar + Pen Tapping Song” from 2015 and his groundbreaking cover of “Billie Jean” from 2016 earned him millions of views and launched his international career. His YouTube channels now have around one million followers.
Misko was named Acoustic Guitarist of the Year by MusicRadar (UK) in 2018 and has since released six critically acclaimed albums, including the innovative “Roundtrip” and the collaborative project “Take Your Time.” In 2020, he made his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York and later formed a dynamic duo with harpist Alexander Boldachev, with whom he has toured major festivals around the globe.
As a tireless innovator, Misko collaborated with Baton Rouge Guitars to develop the revolutionary “Frankenstein Guitar,” a unique acoustic instrument featuring a triple detuning system, percussive elements, and 14 pickups. In 2023, he moved to Germany to deepen his connections to the European music scene and launched the Alexandr Misko Signature Guitar, through which he made his vision of modern fingerstyle accessible to a wider audience.
In addition to his solo career, Misko collaborates with leading guitarists such as Jon Gomm, Mike Dawes, Andrea Valeri, and Alan Gogoll, continually pushing the boundaries of what the
acoustic guitar can express.
Whether performing in sold-out venues, teaching in workshops, or connecting online—Alexandr Misko speaks a universal language: fearless, emotional, and deeply inspiring.
