Lectures throughout the area and the presentation of regionally connected publishing houses inspire a love of reading at the largest book fair in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
When golden autumn light gradually floods the landscape on Fischland and Darß, the time has come to get really cozy with a good book in a beach chair or at home. The Ahrenshoop Literature Days in the Baltic resort of Ahrenshoop will stimulate your desire to read.
The book fair always takes place in the Strandhalle Ahrenshoop from October 2 to 4. Around 15 publishers present literature from and about Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Fischland-Darß-Zingst Peninsula and the Baltic resort of Ahrenshoop.
The fair also reflects the fact that Ahrenshoop is a place of art. In addition to books, special printed products such as artistically sophisticated books made of handmade paper with screen-printed illustrations, original graphic books, sheets, cards and folders printed by woodcut, linotype or monotype can also be found.
The book fair will be accompanied by readings in various houses in the Baltic resort of Ahrenshoop.
