German Chamber Orchestra Berlin
The German Chamber Orchestra Berlin (DKO) invites you to a festive concert experience on December 5, 2026 under the motto "Advent Magic". Since its foundation in the fall of 1989, the ensemble has been a permanent fixture in Berlin's musical life and far beyond the city limits, delighting audiences with its lively ensemble playing, international line-up and excellent sound quality.
Under the artistic direction of Gabriel Adorján, the orchestra will present an atmospheric program of works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, including the famous "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" (KV 525) and the Divertimento in D major KV 136. The concert will be complemented by Johann Sebastian Bach's Concerto for two violins in D minor, George Frideric Handel's Concerto grosso op. 6 no. 7 in B flat major and Henry Purcell's "Abdelazer Suite".
With this varied program, the DKO combines baroque sonority and classical elegance to create a musical Advent experience full of atmosphere and expressiveness.
