Advent in the Courtyard – Do Good Together and Experience the Magic of Christmas!
On Sunday, November 29, 2026, a very special dream will come true for us: Murmels Basteltraum will open the doors to its very first Christmas market—our “Advent in the Courtyard”! ✨
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., we’d like to create a place full of warmth, creativity, and pre-Christmas joy together with you. Look forward to lovingly handmade gift ideas, local artisans, and unique products crafted with passion. You can also look forward to mulled wine, eggnog, roasted almonds, and other treats. We’ve got our little guests covered too, with a kids’ craft workshop and face painting.
But our Advent market is meant to be more than just a lovely day in the run-up to Christmas.
Through this year’s “Winter Wichtel” campaign, we’re supporting the Langhagen Children’s and Youth Fire Department. 20% of the proceeds from the sale of our “Winter Wichtel” figurines will go directly toward supporting their youth programs. Because we believe that children and young people who get involved, take on responsibility, and are there for others deserve our support!
For us, this first Christmas market of our own is a labor of love. We want to bring people together, strengthen regional arts and crafts, and show how much beauty can be created when community and a spirit of helpfulness come together.
