Festive Advent and Christmas concerts by the Samtens Women's Choir
Rügen's best-known and largest women's choir, the Samtens Women's Choir, invites you to its popular Advent concerts by candlelight. From traditional Christmas carols to the famous Hallelujah by Handel or the equally well-known Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, the choir takes the audience on a journey through winter, Advent lights and Christmas spirit. Other highlights include "Heilge Nacht" by Beethoven and the Ave Maria by Bach/Gounod. The choir will be conducted by Alex Bergstedt as usual.
In the 41 years of its existence, the choir has already performed around 400 concerts in Germany and abroad, as well as making videos, television and CD recordings.
The choir, the host parishes and Granitz Hunting Lodge cordially invite you to the events. Admission is free, but warm winter clothing or a blanket is recommended, at least for the churches.

Sat., Dec. 6, 5 p.m.: St. Jakobi Kasnevitz village church
