The renowned saxophone quartet presents musical works
This year, the state competition "Jugend komponiert" is celebrating its 30th anniversary. To mark this special occasion, brand new compositions for saxophone quartet will be performed at this year's final concert!
The works of the young composers from Brandenburg and Poland aged 14-27 were evaluated by a jury of experts and previously developed in a composition workshop at the Rheinsberg Music Academy under the artistic direction of Helmut Zapf. The participants received support from professional composers and musicians. These compositions will now be premiered by the renowned Aduma Quartet. The winners will then be announced.
The "Jugend komponiert" project has been organized by the Landesmusikrat Brandenburg e.V. since 1995.
