Guided tour with Ingrid Handt | Participation: 9 euros

Since 1886, the greenhouses have been in continuous use as a home for plants from various tropical regions. The different houses offer the appropriate conditions for the respective needs.

Since 2019, the three historic large greenhouses have been extensively restored and give an idea of the tropical rainforest in all its vigor. A newly created lecture area now also allows small events to be held in a tropical setting.

The lack of light in winter can also be felt in the plants, but with their abundance of green shades they make you forget the dark season and provide a first prelude to the new garden year.

Horticultural technician Ingrid Handt gives a guided tour of the greenhouses and also provides insights into the renovation of the facility.
