Bridges of Hope 30+20 – The Album
The focus of this evening is the upcoming live album “30+20,” which was recorded last year at Berlin’s Theater Ost and is set to be released in the first half of next year. The first singles will be released this fall. The concert will feature songs from Alejandro Soto Lacoste’s previous albums, as well as new, previously unreleased compositions and, of course, classics of Chilean and Latin American music.
There is a special emphasis on peace, justice, and hope. In a time of wars, social polarization, and rising authoritarian forces, hope is perhaps more necessary than ever. His original compositions blend with songs by Víctor Jara and Violeta Parra, building a bridge between the hopes of earlier generations and the challenges of our present.
Alejandro Soto Lacoste is accompanied by Ernesto Villalobos (pan flutes, flutes, guitar) and Greco Acuña (percussion). Together, the three musicians blend Latin American sounds with elements of folk, rock, and jazz.
A musical bridge between Chile and Germany—full of poetry and rhythm.
