150 Years and 20 Years of KUKUNA—Ludwigslust is celebrating, and DeveLUP is getting creative: For the 20th Ludwigslust Art and Culture Night, DeveLUP will become a stage for creativity and a gathering place for art, music, crafts, and good conversation. Together with the Ludwigslust-Parchim District Adult Education Center, artists and course instructors from the region will demonstrate just how diverse creative work can be—with opportunities to watch, participate, and try things out.
Discover Procreate, macramé, tapestry, ceramics, unique metal art, custom tile art, engravings, and analog instant photos. You can have Jens Pommerehnke engrave a favorite piece on-site and turn it into your own personal keepsake. Graphic designer Gerald Hross guarantees you a very special instant photo with his analog camera. Thomas Cronenberg presents an ancient art form—tapestry—and with Beatrix Dehmel and Undine Behrmann, you can try your hand at Procreate and macramé. Strike up a conversation with creative artists, discover new course offerings from the district adult education center, and find inspiration for your own ideas—step right in among thoughts, works, paths, and lasting encounters.
The exhibition opens at 6:00 p.m. in the Grand Gallery. Starting at 7:00 p.m., the live act “53.11” will provide musical accompaniment for the evening with cover songs as well as original pieces. This will be followed by “Art in Conversation”—the participating artists will discuss their works, ideas, and personal journeys into art, moderated by Sandra Duwe, director of the District Adult Education Center, and Jörn Wille, venue and event manager at DeveLUP.
Come celebrate with us and look forward to creative inspiration at DeveLUP. An evening full of sparks!
