The performance will feature Valentina Solis (charango and double bass) and Christian L. Zack (guitar).
The latter had previously performed as a soloist with the Musikfreunde a few years ago. At that time, he captivated the audience with the box and suitcase guitars he had built himself during his stay in South America. This time, he is bringing his duet partner along, and with her, a traditional Chilean plucked string instrument, the charango.
The program includes works by Manuel de Falla and Astor Piazzolla, among others, which the two have arranged specifically for this ensemble.
The program also features traditional music from the Andean regions of South America. The audience can look forward to an exciting journey, complete with explanations of the music’s origins and the composers. The Elún Duo promises listeners a concert experience full of emotion, sonic depth, and lively dialogue.
The concert begins at 5 p.m. Tickets are available in advance at the Neustrelitz Tourist and National Park Information Center as well as at the box office.
