Traditional regatta sport: The 76th Stralsund Sailing Week offers exciting races on the Strelasund, long-distance regattas Rund Rügen and Rund Hiddensee, Expressenpokal, Folkeboote and junior regattas for young sailing talent.
The 76th Stralsund Sailing Week will once again bring sailing, maritime tradition and a real regatta feeling to the Strelasund from June 10 to 14, 2026. Against the backdrop of the Hanseatic City of Stralsund, ambitious crews, young sailors and sailing enthusiasts will come together for a varied program on the water.
The event kicks off with prize sailing as part of the Wednesday regatta. On Friday evening, Rund Rügen will be at the start. Further sporting highlights follow on Saturday with Rund Hiddensee, the German Express Cup and the races of the International Folk Boats. In the evening, the crews of the Rund Rügen and Rund Hiddensee regattas will be honored and the regatta day will be concluded together.
Sunday will once again be characterized by exciting races before the sailing week ends with the final award ceremonies.
A special focus in 2026 will also be on the next generation of sailors: the junior regattas of the Dänholm Sailing School will give young talents the opportunity to gain regatta experience, compete in sports and become part of a traditional sailing event. The Stralsund Sailing Week thus connects experienced regatta crews with the next generation of sailing.
It is also worthwhile for spectators to take a look at the events: In addition to the current program, the event overview on our website also describes suitable spots from which to watch the races.
