The Neubrandenburg Fairy Tale Week is once again offering wonderful fairy tale activities for young and old alike this year.
It’s fairy tale season again…
As is traditional every year, the 4th Neubrandenburg Fairy Tale Week will be officially opened on November 2, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. in the Franciscan monastery of the Regional Museum with live medieval music.
Under the motto “Once upon a time…,” we aim to enchant visitors of all ages with legends and fairy tales.
The Society of Theater Lovers, Inc. will kick things off with a short performance from the play “The Magic Ball.”
Following the opening on November 2 at 10:00 a.m., visitors are welcome to enjoy a fairy-tale rickshaw ride from there.
Through November 6, the city will be transformed into an “enchanted fairy-tale forest” with nearly 30 events at 7 venues for the whole family.
In addition to the fairy-tale city tours, visitors can, for example, listen to fairy tales and legends at the Eine Weltladen NB e.V., experience another “Mission Märchenland” at the Regional Library, or enjoy a live musical mix of medieval and Irish folklore.
Anyone who’d like to try their hand at felting can create fun fairy-tale characters at the Märchenhaus.
Film screenings at Latücht, short stories in Low German, theater, fairy tale walks—once again, the program is diverse and designed not only for school classes and daycare children but also for the whole family.
And best of all: Admission to all events is free for children.
Due to limited space at some venues, we ask that you register in advance to participate in the event.
We think there’s something for everyone, and unforgettable moments are guaranteed.
