We cordially invite you to the 4th Night of Knowledge here at the zoo!
On Saturday, October 20, 2018, we look forward to welcoming you to the zoo starting at 5:30 p.m.!
Our shuttle will pick up all visitors at 5:30 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. at the entrance and take you to the lecture in the “Hatima Tant” Africa Pavilion. There, our zoo director, Dr. Schikora, will give a 30-minute presentation on the topic of “The Zoo as a Global Player.” Using Schwerin Zoo as an example, he will explain how the global network works and how zoos are preparing for the future through sustainable animal management.
A brief Q&A session will follow.
