Film School Exchange: Young Voices in Film from Germany and Poland
As part of dokumentART 2026, young filmmakers from Germany and Poland will come together to initiate a dialogue about the future of cinema.
Students and faculty from the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań (UAP) will present their own film projects and exchange ideas about their artistic and cinematic practices.
Their films offer a glimpse into the future of cinema: bold, fresh works by a new generation of filmmakers who are blazing new trails with unconventional perspectives, a spirit of experimentation, and social awareness. They demonstrate just how diverse, surprising, and open-ended the cinema of tomorrow can be.
Following the screenings, a discussion with the students and faculty invites exchange and creates space for new ideas, international collaboration, and German-Polish dialogue.
