With its special program “Nah, Näher, Meck-Pomm,” dokumentART shines a spotlight on regional stories and cinematic voices from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
To kick things off, dokumentART, in collaboration with Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences, invites you to an open seminar featuring a film screening and discussion. The program will showcase selected works by female filmmakers of various generations from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
In the discussion that follows, the films will be discussed together with students and the audience—as a starting point for an open exchange on democratic participation, freedom of expression, social responsibility, and dealing with current conflicts.
