It's well known that you should celebrate milestone anniversaries... This year, the 30th fish trap festival is traditionally held at Whitsun in Baabe. This weekend, the tranquil spa park will not only commemorate the history of fishing in our small Baltic resort, but also revive an old tradition: the ceremonial raising of the fish trap, a custom that once shaped the everyday life of fishermen.
