175 years of the Zinnowitz seaside resort consensus
Exactly 175 years ago, on June 26, 1851, Zinnowitz received permission from the imperial authorities to start operating as a seaside resort. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in the history of our town: the former fishing village gradually developed into one of the most popular Baltic Sea resorts on the Baltic Sea.
We are celebrating this special anniversary under the motto "From fishing village to Baltic resort".
A special highlight is the historical outdoor gallery, which brings the development of Zinnowitz to life in an impressive way. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Historische Gesellschaft zu Zinnowitz e.V. for their support!
A performance by the Leipzig Salon Philharmonic Orchestra on the concert shell will provide a festive musical backdrop in the afternoon. With their program, they will bring sonorous elegance with modern melodies to Zinnowitz.
In addition, visitors can look forward to encounters with historically dressed walk acts around the pier forecourt and the promenade.
Another item on the program is the lecture by Ingo Zander from 19:00 in the Haus des Gastes on the development of bathing in Zinnowitz and on the Island of Usedom.
