From July 24 to 26, the seaside resort of Lubmin will celebrate its 140th anniversary, and the Lubmin Adult Education Center will mark 35 years of educational work with a varied anniversary weekend.
From July 24 to 26, the seaside resort of Lubmin will celebrate its 140th anniversary, and the Lubmin Adult Education Center will mark 35 years of educational work with a varied anniversary weekend. Visitors can look forward to a diverse program featuring music, shows, entertainment, and numerous activities for the whole family. Over the course of three days, people will celebrate together, dance, and enjoy the special atmosphere around the pier and the spa gardens.
The festivities kick off on Friday at 3 p.m. with a family afternoon at the Lubmin Adult Education Center, featuring music by Yvi & Eyk as well as many attractions such as a bounce house, coffee and cake, grilled food, creative activities, and an exhibition.
In the evening, the festivities continue at the pier. The Küsten-Varietée will leave audiences in awe, before the drum show “Red Attack” thrills visitors with its rousing rhythms. The highlight of the first day of the festival is the grand fireworks display over the Greifswald Bodden.
On Saturday, guests can look forward to a full day of music and entertainment. At the pier, the shawm band, pop singer Danny Buller, and KESS’s interactive show will create a great atmosphere. In the spa gardens, the program features music with Sunny, a children’s program, and circus fun. In the evening, Lubmin transforms into a huge festival zone. The band Impression invites everyone to dance, before a DJ keeps the party going well into the night.
Sunday is all about a leisurely finale. At the morning get-together on the pier, everyone will sway and celebrate together. Afterward, the youngest guests can let off some steam once more at the children’s program before singer Isa rounds off the anniversary weekend with music.
