What is the current state of Low German in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern? What is happening right now to promote and celebrate Low German—in clubs, on stage, in schools and daycare centers, in literature, in academia, and across the regions?
The 13th Low German Roundtable of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Heritage Association invites you to the Kulturdiele M8 in Stralsund on October 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The focus will be on exchange and networking. Dedicated individuals and those interested are invited to engage in conversation, share experiences, make new connections, and present their own projects and activities. What’s happening elsewhere for and with Low German? What ideas are out there, and where are new opportunities for collaboration emerging?
The roundtable is intended as an open forum for everyone interested in and involved with Low German—whether as volunteers or full-time professionals, in associations, education, culture, academia, or other fields.
