Enchanting melodies at the city harbor
The Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra will once again be making a guest appearance in Waren's city harbor this year with a series of enchanting melodies from opera, operetta and concerts. It starts with Strauss' cheerful and lively "Fledermaus" overture. Highlights from Emmerich Kálmán's "Csárdásfürstin" and Paul Lincke's "Frau Luna" continue in an amusing and entertaining way. Eliza Doolittle, the flower seller from "My Fair Lady", shares her happiness with us: "I would have danced tonight". Freddy, her suitor, also seems happy because he knows "you live in the street". Catchy tunes from operas by Verdi, Puccini and Mascagni transport the audience to Bella Italia in an emotionally moving and atmospheric way.
A summer evening that promises a good mood!
