Traditional Christmas tree burning with the Teterow volunteer fire department
Traditionally, the volunteer fire department in Teterow invites children to burn the Christmas tree together. The kids meet at 5 p.m. on the Teterow market square. With torches and lanterns, they then make their way to the fairground on Grüner Weg. The fir trees will be lit there at around 5:15 pm. Food and drink will be provided. There will be stew and sausages, children's punch and mulled wine.
