Historical treasures, a coffee table, and a runway.
To mark this special anniversary, the former Karstadt department store will open its doors on November 8, 2026, and invite guests to a spectacular event starting at 2:00 p.m., featuring a lively photo exhibition and display chronicling the department store’s history. In addition, there will be discussions, stories, and anecdotes from former employees, customers, and eyewitnesses, as well as a fashion show themed “while supplies last,” featuring stylish and elegant pieces from 1926 to 1993.
Also, Karstadt expert Mr. Holger Philipp Bergt will be a guest that day; he owns the largest private Karstadt collection and will be bringing along some of his wonderful finds.
Coffee and cake will be served.
