The harbor has been a popular artistic subject from Caspar David Friedrich to the present day—its historic ships lend it great pictorial charm. From finding a subject and making sketches to plein air painting, participants can benefit from the wealth of experience offered by artist Karin Wurlitzer.
Please bring your own materials: a sturdy surface to work on, a folding stool, a sketchpad or painting surface, a pencil, brushes, a water glass, and acrylic or watercolor paints.
