Concert at Kulturhafen
Four friends who tell their stories together: majkind—made up of Meret, Adrian, Julian, and Karl—make German-language indie pop that evokes rainy afternoons, balmy summer evenings, and long nights. Their lyrics tell of growing up, letting go, and holding on. And about those fleeting moments with friends when everything seems perfect. In November 2025, the band released their debut EP “angekommen, vielleicht,” celebrating its release in February with a big concert at the M.A.U. Club. Now they’re returning to Rostock’s Kulturhafen with new songs in tow.
The support act is Weimar-based newcomer Johanna Philipp, who is returning to Rostock this evening. She previously opened a concert here for Alin Coen back in 2024. With her newly formed band, she performs honest and moving songs about self-love and finding one’s place—and sings about themes that almost everyone can relate to.
