Based on the popular children’s books by Hendrikje Balsmeyer and Peter Maffay, an impressive production for children ages four and up is currently in the works. Anouk is a lovable and helpful girl. However, there’s one thing she really doesn’t like: going to bed! Her parents are all the more surprised when Anouk suddenly goes to bed in the evening, full of anticipation. What they don’t know is that every night, a magical door opens for Anouk to a world full of fantasy and adventure. She goes on exciting adventures, joins pirates on treasure hunts, overcomes challenges in the jungle, and meets colorful characters at the fair. Along the way, Anouk makes new friends and helps other children in difficult and challenging situations.
