Zoos, animal parks and enclosures, Playgrounds and indoor arcades, family-friendly, barrier-free, dog-friendly

The largest zoo in Vorpommern with 800 animals in 120 species and shapes offers a "journey through the fantastic world of animals!" - from chimpanzees to tarantulas, from farms to jungles.

At Stralsund Zoo, visitors can take a journey through the fantastic world of animals "From the jungle to the farm". Starting in the North American prairie with bison, prairie dogs and white wolves, through the tropical nature of South America to the lions and chimpanzees of Africa. One focus, however, is rare breeds of domestic animals, to be experienced in a historic farmhouse or next to a Dutch windmill. A zoo school, a show farm and gastronomic facilities are located in the park.
