The Daskow water hiking rest area is located on the east bank of the Lower Recknitz River, below the manor house.
Daskow water hiking rest area is well maintained and has a mooring, camping meadow and a fireplace. Camping is allowed, a large site with a fireplace is available, suitable for groups. However, there are no supply and disposal facilities. By arrangement it is possible to use the sanitary facilities of the fishing club.

In the MV Art Gallery, self-taught artists Wolfgang Hube and Kathy H-Teufel exhibit their paintings, painted ostrich eggs, stones and jewelry created using a wide variety of techniques.
