The Daskow water hiking rest area is located on the east bank of the Lower Recknitz River, below the manor house.
Daskow water hiking rest area is well maintained and has a mooring, camping meadow and a fireplace. Camping is allowed, a large site with a fireplace is available, suitable for groups. However, there are no supply and disposal facilities. By arrangement it is possible to use the sanitary facilities of the fishing club.

The open-air museum Klockenhagen is a historical village in a village, because on five hectares of parkland there are typical Mecklenburg farmhouses, barns, windmills and a village church.
The manor house was commissioned by Carl von Behr-Negendank and built by the Strelitz court architect Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel around 1825. Around 1850, the castle was extended by the addition of an orangery and a two-story living area. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park of 21 hectares.

Modern tradition meets hospitality. The manor house, built around 1805 on the edge of the Rostock Heath, was lovingly converted by the Eben family into a hotel-guesthouse in 1992, and has been renovated and expanded ever since.
The six stations of the KRANICH path in the estate park trace the life of the crane. The station boards designed by artists provide orientation and installations encourage visitors to run, hide, attempt to fly or dance the crane dance. The trail is freely accessible in the park.
