Viewpoints, family-friendly, barrier-free

The accessible treetop trail is 620 meters long. The highlight is the 40-meter-high observation tower with elevator and visitor platforms. The facility is located in the Ivenack Zoo.

The Ivenacker oaks near Stavenhagen - Germany's first National Natural Monument - are among the strongest oaks in Europe, with trunk girths of more than 14 meters. Visitors can meet the thousand-year-old oaks at "eye level" on the treetop path, which runs at a height of 20 meters. The highlight of the treetop trail is the 40-meter-high observation tower. From the viewing platform, wide views of the landscapes of Mecklenburg Switzerland as well as the Lake District are possible. The handicapped accessible hiking trail through all growth zones of the trees has a total length of 620 meters.

In the game reserve at the Ivenacker oaks, old breeds of domestic pigs, fallow deer and wild horses can also be experienced.
