Surf spots

Due to nature conservation regulations, only windsurfers are allowed to enjoy the great flat water and the gigantic standing area here. This sport is recommended with wind directions between west and northwest.

The Rambin spot is located about twelve kilometers northeast of Stralsund. In contrast to the village of Rambin, which is crossed by a busy main road, the spot is located in a quiet area in the middle of a nature reserve on the Kupitzer Bodden. A white, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach, as you find it elsewhere on Rügen, is not offered here. You won't miss it either, because you will find best shallow water conditions and a huge shallow water area in a quiet rural environment. Beginners and freestylers are offered excellent conditions to improve their skills. Due to nature conservation, only windsurfing is allowed at the Rambin spot, similar to Scharprode, but not kitesurfing. The spot is suitable for wind directions from W to NW.

Facilities:

  • Parking facilities < 250 m away, free of charge.

Detailed information about the spot Rambin can be found on the linked website of www.surflocal.de. There you can also find 3D panorama photos of the spot, contact the locals or arrange to surf together with friends.
