The start is at the Feldberger Hütte on the south-western bank of the Breite Luzin.
The trail initially leads close to the shore to the south and south-east, partly on narrow paths through old mixed beech forest. Views of the clear waters of the Luzin open up again and again.
Shortly before the Lichtenberg shore, the terrain becomes more open; after a slight incline, you reach the Lichtenberg bathing beach, a wide, quiet bathing area with shallow access to the water.
At the bathing beach, keep heading north-east, following the clearly visible forest path, which climbs slightly and then runs above the eastern shore slope; this section is sunnier than the western part and offers beautiful views towards Carwitz and the hilly surroundings of the Feldberg lake landscape.
After a pleasant, almost straight section, you finally reach Tornowhof, an open, rural settlement with sweeping views of the cultivated landscape. Several hiking trails meet here.
From Tornowhof, the trail now leads westwards back towards Feldberg.
The way back runs through slightly hilly terrain, woodland and meadow sections. The view occasionally opens up towards Luzin and later towards Feldberger Haussee.
Depending on the path you choose, you will reach the southern part of Feldberg via wide forest paths or smaller field paths and finally back to the Feldberger Hütte, where the loop ends.
