Enjoy a place of relaxation and individuality, meeting art, culture, nice people and a varied offer of different pleasures and activities. You will be greeted by a wonderful view over the Malchow Lake to the monastery complex, the church and a lot of greenery.

The island town of Malchow is a pearl in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District and is developing more and more into a popular place for recreation. The convenient location and the unique combination of lake scenery, fantastic cycling and hiking trails and cultural discoveries, invite you to dream, soul tree and active revitalization.

The Ringelnatz Malchow with hotel, ice cream parlor and bistro also feels obliged to the quieter tones in the spirit of the famous poet and comedian Joachim Ringelnatz (1883-1934) and sees itself as a gem of individual recreation and relaxation. The entire house has been reduced, and everywhere you will find loving details with a sympathetic wink and infectious humor.

On the site of today's Ringelnatz Malchow, the steam brewery Ch. F. Lange was founded in the 1860s and was once the Grand Duke's purveyor to the court. In the early 1900s, it operated as a wheat and brown beer brewery, offering especially wheat beer according to the Berlin recipe. An ice cellar with meter-thick walls stood directly on the lake. In winter, blocks of ice were hewn out of the lake, which then kept the beer cool into the summer. After the Second World War the house was used as a farmhouse with cattle breeding. In a fire in 1989 it was largely destroyed and partially rebuilt. In 2013/14, demolition was done by hand, during which much of the material was stored and rebuilt.

Here at Ringelnatz Malchow, the hotel manager Mandy Bartsch and the business manager Sven Rupprich and their team warmly welcome you as the owners. Enjoy the familiar atmosphere beyond standardized concepts and well-worn system hotels and let yourself in for something special.

Whether you are looking for enjoyment, discovery, relaxation or simply some distance from everyday life, the Ringelnatz Malchow does everything to fulfill your dream. We wish you many more eventful and impressive moments in our beautiful island town of Malchow and look forward to seeing you again soon!
