In Mecklenburg Switzerland, on the Peene Canal, a shipping route that connects Lake Kummerow and Lake Malchin, the Moorbauer is located in the middle of untouched nature. And as the name suggests, in the middle of the moor with its very own flora and fauna. Beavers and otters are at home here. Every guest is immediately transported to another world: Unwinding is the order of the day in this tranquil and enchanting place.
Liepen moated castle is located on an island surrounded by an idyllic park. It was built in the 15th century by the Count Hahn family, who live here again today. The medieval vaulted cellar belongs to the oldest part of the castle complex and can be visited
The Galenbeck Soap Box is the factory outlet of the Galenbeck Soap Manufactory. It is always open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 16:00 to 19:00. Here you can immerse yourself in "the little house of fragrances" and be enchanted by the scents of the soaps, oils and creams.
The 1,000-year-old Ivenacker oaks belong to the Ivenacker Tiergarten. They are cultural and natural historical highlight of the area.

The Wolkwitz manor house is beautifully nestled in the gently hilly surroundings of Lake Kummerow.
In the heart of Mecklenburg Switzerland lies the tranquil estate village of Langwitz. Its centrally located manor house was built around 1850 and had a significant impact on the village and community life for many years.
The baroque palace on the shores of Lake Kummerow was renovated to the highest standards of historic preservation. The castle houses a private collection of modern art with a focus on international photography.
The older, middle part of the castle dates back to the 16th century - the monastery building. A first extension took place in 1709 and after passing to the Imperial Counts v. Plessen around 1750. The semicircular stables, the orangery, the tea house and the church also date from this period. Around 1810, the castle was again extended by two wings. Since 2016, it has been renovated in accordance with the preservation order. The 1000-year-old Ivenack oaks in the former animal park are Germany's first national natural monument.
