Born in Flensburg, the artist worked in southern Germany, on the Canary Island of Tenerife and now lives near Barth on the Baltic Sea. Trained as a goldsmith and silversmith, studied free painting in Kiel. Stays abroad in New York with James Collins provided her with international contacts.

This was followed by one year's training at the Freiburg Drama School and studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Trier with Professors Krämer, Ruth Clemens, Klaus and Philipp Schulte. Author of the Christophorus publishing house in Freiburg.

Since 1984 freelance artist in the fields of painting, jewelry design, design and production of exclusive silk fashion.

Member of the F.K.F and former lecturer for watercolor and silk painting at the VHS Waldkirch.
