"Change" is the title of the exhibition in the Visitor Information Center of the National Park of Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft, and hardly anything could be more appropriate for the island of Hiddensee, which is constantly growing and changing through the forces of nature.
Man and island - information panels prepared as paintings encourage reading and, above all, reflection. In the 3D viewer, the largest island in the national park presents itself with impressions from all seasons. The visitor has the feeling of standing in the middle of the landscape, experiencing the situation live.
How was the island formed? Where does the natterjack toad live? What is the orientation of migratory birds? What is the origin of our vegetables? Through trial and error, you can find your own answers to these and other questions. This is not only fun for children.
Recommendation: In addition to the building, which is modeled on the wind shear in its shape, an adventure path allows visitors to experience nature with all their senses.
The exhibition can also be visited by wheelchair users.
