Our hospital was built in 1995 directly on Lake Plau. The hospital specializes in neurosurgery, neurological-neurosurgical early rehabilitation phase B, a spinal cord injury center, neurology and stroke unit, orthopaedics, rheumatology, trauma and hand surgery, general surgery, anaesthesia and intensive care medicine as well as radiology and neuroradiology.

The acute medical neurological-neurosurgical early rehabilitation phase B follows directly after a stay in an intensive care or stroke unit and enables targeted support for lost functions and the earliest possible rehabilitation of patients with severe brain and spinal cord injuries. We are a large team of highly specialized doctors, therapists and nursing staff. In early rehabilitation, we train motor, cognitive and physical functions in continuation of intensive care medicine.
