At the Malchin Canoe Club, not only locals can enjoy water sports, the club also offers numerous activities for visitors to the town.
The Malchin Canoe Club began building the training center in 1979. Just one year later, the club had 30 members, and after several changes of domicile, the canoe club moved to the current club building on Koesters Eck (former gasworks) in 1997. We practise canoe racing, hiking, dragon boating and offer canoe hire and canoe / dragon boat tours. It is also possible to rent rooms, club rooms, tent pitches and caravan sites from us. Our DKV station is located directly on the Dahm Canal and on the Peene at Koesters Eck in Malchin. From there it is possible to paddle onto Lake Malchin and Lake Kummerow or along the Peene to Anklam.
