Built in the 19th century as a sexton's house, today the house serves as a venue for events in the village.
After changing use as a restaurant or theater backdrop, among other things, construction work began in 2011 on the "Haus der Begegnung - Kösterschün" project. Completed in 2012, the Kösterschün, together with the local history museum and library, forms the cultural center of the city. Today, various events take place here - family celebrations such as weddings, wedding ceremonies, as well as seminars and meetings.
