Many historical exhibits bring to life the stories of life and work in the local community of Börgerende-Rethwisch.

The local museum has existed since 1982 and was reopened in April 2009 after the restoration of the building and a newly designed exhibition with great attention to detail. You will learn a lot about the 700 year old history of the community, traditional local crafts and agriculture. With the help of selected historical exhibits you will experience a voyage of discovery through the history of the Baltic Sea community.
