Harbours and marinas

From here the ferries depart in the direction of Hiddensee

The trip to Neuendorf takes about 30 minutes, to Vitte or Kloster about 45 minutes. If you are in a hurry, you can take a water cab to Hiddensee.

In the fishing harbor, a gas station supplies diesel, gasoline and oils. The gas station is managed by the harbor master and has fixed opening hours which are announced in notices. The first construction phase of the marina was handed over in May 2003 and the entire marina was completed for the 2004 season.The marina offers 220 berths for our permanent berth holders and guests on modern floating pontoons. Individual power and water supply can be found directly at the pontoons, also modern waste disposal and sanitary facilities are available. Slipway and boat crane are available in the marina. In the village the guest will find shopping and gastronomic facilities.

Climate forest Haidhof

The Haidhof climate forest covers an area of just under one hectare and is made up of red oaks, sweet chestnuts and hazel trees in combination with various woodland edge trees. At several planting events in the fall since 2011, guests and residents have been able to talk to foresters and forest campaigners about the climate forests on the Island of Rügen while enjoying children's games, campfires and wild sausages.
