The Müritz region is a paradise for anglers! Nowhere else in Germany can you fish on such a large contiguous lake area. Pike, perch, eel, zander and carp are the most popular fish. Peace, romance and encounters with local fishermen will make your fishing vacation unforgettable. Visit the fishing farms in the area with their varied offers or go out on the lake...and enjoy the fish you have caught yourself in the evening.

All you need is a valid fishing license (Müritzfischer, LAV, Baltic Sea) and a fishing license. If you don't have your own, you can purchase a tourist fishing license in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

You can obtain both documents and lots of information directly from us at the Waren (Müritz) Information Center. We have been certified with the quality seal "Angelurlaub MV - Geprüfte Qualität" since 2016.
