The terminal moraine landscape has shaped this impressive natural area since the last ice age. Over 10,000 years ago, huge masses of ice melted and formed channel lakes, hollows, erratic blocks and boulder packs, which still define the Feldberg Lakeland today.

The starting and finishing point of this cycle tour is the Kneipp spa town of Feldberg Lakeland. From here, the route leads through a varied environment and a sometimes challenging elevation profile. Along the way, you will encounter numerous scenic and cultural highlights: the Reiherberg viewpoint, the Feldberger Hütte nature reserve, the historic monastery mill, the magnificent baroque Boitzenburg Castle, the erratic boulder garden near Carwitz and the Hans Fallada Museum.

Several bathing spots along the route invite you to take a refreshing break and make the tour a special nature experience.
