There is a bathing place with playground,which invites children and adults to spend the whole day there in nice weather.
The lake belongs to the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, is leased to the anglers' association, and was cleaned up by pumping sediment from the bottom of the lake into a neighboring flushing field. This should further improve the water quality - although the lake has always been bathing water quality anyway.

The estate at Lake Duckwitz consists of the manor house, a renovated marstall, the old cattle barn, the barn and almost 4 hectares of garden and park. The shore areas of the lake are densely overgrown with reeds and are under nature protection. The park has old trees and offers wonderful impressions all year round. The sunsets over the lake are always enchanting.
