The city forest is centrally located between the districts of Kühlungsborn East and West.

With its 133 hectares, Kühlungsborn's city forest offers a large oasis of tranquility as a balance to the hustle and bustle on the promenade and along the streets of Kühlungsborn. Well-developed hiking trails and small trails lead through the large area. The forest is wonderful for long and short walks, on foot or by bike. With its 14 different deciduous and eight different coniferous tree species, the city forest is worth a trip at any time of year.
