Directly on the river Recknitz, directly in the hinterland of the coast, 300 m from the Ribnitzer Bodden, lies a dreamy little castle. The listed house was renovated in the years 2011 to 2013 and today shines again in the old splendor.
Relax in the individually furnished, cozy vacation apartments in our little castle. The manor house, built around 1830, received its castle-like character through reconstruction and extension in the German Reform architecture and it is also affectionately called castle by the community. The house, which is a listed building, was lovingly renovated by us according to historical models.
The manor house of the former knight's estate Pütnitz is ideally situated for hikers, canoeists, anglers, sailors and other nature lovers. Situated directly in the hinterland of the coast on the Recknitz , which flows 300 m downstream into the Ribnitzer Bodden, Pütnitz Castle is an insider's tip, also for all those who enjoy the proximity to one of the most beautifulhe to one of the most beautiful Baltic beaches and the hustle and bustle of the coast do not want to miss completely, but the vacation settlements and mass tourism largelyst avoid. 13 minutes by car to the most beautiful Baltic beaches with fine white sand, 10 minutes by bike to the amber town of Ribnitz, 5 minutes by foot to the small Damgarten harbor and one minute by foot to the Bodden -wanderweg , which is located directly between Gutspark and Recknitz. We also rent out quad canoes to our guests, so that our guests can really experience the natural landscape around the Recknitz.
Our vacation apartments at Pütnitz Castle are stylishly and individually furnished mainly with antique furniture and objects. Most of the apartments have either the old oak parquet floor or over 100 years old spruce floorboards. Some of the apartments are equipped with a small cast-iron wood-burning stove for an even cozier ambience in the colder seasons. Relax here and feel transported back to a quieter time, without having to give up modern comforts. All apartments are equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster and most of them with a dishwasher. The first floor apartments all have their own private garden area and the apartments "Mardereck" and "Gaubenblick" on the 2nd floor have their own roof terrace. Our largest apartments have 3 bedrooms. The apartment "Platane" ( named after the over 400 years old plane tree which stands on the south side of the manor house ) accommodates, generously up to 8 people. All apartments have access to the park, garden tables and chairs as well as barbecue facilities are available for our guests.
The large hall, and a wedding room, (we are branch of the registry office Ribnitz) park and terrace, are ideal for family celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings. But also for seminars and exhibitions.
