Outdoor pools and guarded bathing areas, Canoe and boat hire

The charming Neuklostersee invites locals and guests for great swimming fun with a large sunbathing lawn, playground, kiosk and boat rental. Neuklostersee races, beach parties and swimming competitions take place here.

The mighty glaciers of the last ice age formed the charming terminal moraine landscape around Neukloster and left behind a very special pearl in the form of the heart-shaped 2.6 km² Neuklostersee. In addition to a sunbathing lawn, the bathing area also has a volleyball court. The beautiful, clear Neuklostersee can be explored by boat. Whether water pedal boats or rowing boats - Wolfgang Pügge rents them out from May to October. His kiosk also takes care of the physical well-being. The DLRG ensures safety every year from May 15 to September 15.
